Problem: I cant connect to the ftp. When I type my ftp address given to me at signup and use the login and password given I receive this response:

530 Login authentication failed
Error:
Critical error
Error:
Could not connect to server

Resolution:

Here are some things to check.

1. Make sure your ftp address is correct. If you havent updated your DNS settings to point to our name servers then you will get this error. To verify this you can try to FTP with ftp address ftp.prestigetechnologies.com. If this works then you may need to update your DNS or not only will your FTP not work correctly but after you upload you will also not be able to see your site.

2. If it does not work with ftp.prestigetechnologies.com then maybe your login and password is incorrect and you should have them resent to you.

3. If it still does not work then you may have been locked out and you will need to have support reset your password.

NOTE: Your DNS settings shoudl be pointing to NS1.PRESTIGETECHNOLOGIES.COM AND NS2.PRESTIGETECHNOLOGIES.COM
